The Interface Friction Measurement Apparatus (SKU JA-GT-9865) evaluates both the frictional resistance and the pull-out resistance of soil reinforcing materials at the shear rate and drainage condition chosen by the designer. It uses 60 x 60 x 25 mm assemblies suitable for soils with D85 not greater than 4.75 mm. Soil reinforcement is used to improve soil behaviour in retaining structures, slopes, landslide protection and pavements. It is supplied by JaincoLab for geosynthetics and geotechnical laboratories.
