The Fume Hood (SKU JA-ELA-5498) is a laboratory fume exhaust hood made by JaincoLab for working with chemicals that give off toxic, obnoxious or otherwise harmful gases, vapours or mist. A motor-driven centrifugal blower built into the hood creates negative pressure inside the work chamber, drawing room air in across the working area and expelling the contaminated air to the atmosphere. Services, lighting and sockets are built in, so work can be set up entirely inside the chamber.
