The Funicular Polygon and Forces Apparatus (SKU JA-ELA-5515) is a statics experiment supplied by JaincoLab for showing the conditions of equilibrium of three or more coplanar forces. Up to five loads are applied through cords over pulleys that can be set at different angular positions round a pulley table, acting at a point, on a circular disc or on a rectangular lamina. The lines of action are recorded by drawing along the weighted cords on paper fixed to the table, and the measured forces are compared with the graphical constructions.
