Fixed Condenser Boxes

Fixed Condenser Boxes (SKU JA-SI-8085) give a single known capacitance between two 4 mm socket terminals, for use in AC bridge, charging and time-constant experiments. Values from 0.01 to 2 mfd use paper polyester capacitors rated at 250 V working; values from 5 to 40 mfd use electrolytic capacitors rated at 350 V working. The condensers (silver mica, paper polyester or metal film types) are mounted on a plastic plate inside a sturdy case.
