Absorption Wave Meter

The Absorption Wave Meter (SKU JA-TAMI-1015) detects radio-frequency radiation from an oscillator or transmitter. Its tuned LC circuit, a variable capacitor with plug-in inductors, is adjusted until it absorbs the most energy from the field; the setting then gives the wavelength, and the indication shows the relative strength. Six plug-in coils together cover 100 kHz to 100 MHz.
