The Dropping Cylindrical Pressure Equalizing funnel (SKU JL-LE-11402, Cat. No. JSS-255/0287) is a 100 ml borosilicate glass addition funnel for feeding a liquid steadily into a closed reaction flask. A side tube links the space above the liquid to the flask, so the pressure on both sides stays equal and the liquid keeps flowing even when the system is sealed or under an inert gas. Flow is set with a PTFE key stopcock that needs no grease. Because the body is cylindrical rather than pear-shaped, the liquid level falls evenly as it empties.
