The Double Disc Polishing Machine (Floor Model) (SKU JA-ME-7362) polishes metallographic specimens after grinding, leaving a smooth surface on which the microstructure can be observed and measured under the microscope. Two 8 inch discs with a quick-change design let different emery grits or polishing cloths be used in sequence. This double disc metallographic polisher is driven by a 1/2 HP high-torque DC motor with thyristor speed control and a digital speed indicator from 50 to 1200 rpm.
