Astable Multivibrator using IC 555

The Astable Multivibrator using IC 555 apparatus (SKU JA-SOM-1150) is used to study the wave shape and frequency produced by a 555 timer running as a free-running oscillator. The IC 555 and a range of resistances and capacitors are fitted inside the cabinet with their connections brought out at sockets, so different timing values can be selected and the change in frequency observed. A 5 V DC regulated power supply is built in.
