Vicat Apparatus

The Vicat Apparatus (SKU JA-M-8901) determines the initial and final setting time of cement and mortar paste. A weighted rod carries either the 10 mm consistency plunger, used first to find the water needed for a paste of standard consistency, or the 1.0 mm needle, whose penetration into the paste in the mould shows when setting begins and ends. The Vicat apparatus comes with its mould, a glass plate and a thermometer. It is made by JaincoLab.
