Transformer Parts Kit

The Transformer Parts Kit, SKU JL-GLE-11260, is a JaincoLab kit of coils, a core and accessories for building transformers and showing electromagnetic induction. Coils from 100 to 1800 turns fit on a U and I core listed as 32 x 25 mm, so students can change the turns ratio and compare input and output voltages on the two multimeters. Two sector-shaped plates, an aluminium motor disc and two aluminium rings are included for induction demonstrations.

Transformer and induction work
The parts support:
- Building step-up and step-down transformers by changing coils on the U and I core
- Measuring primary and secondary voltages with the multimeters and comparing them with the turns ratio
- Induction demonstrations with the aluminium rings, disc and sector plates
