The Apparatus for Demonstrating the Moment of Force, SKU JL-GLE-11239, is a JaincoLab principle of moments apparatus for school physics. A fixed disc at least 245 mm across sits on a stand 700-900 mm high with a triangular iron base and a 10-13 mm rod. Students hang metal masses of 10 g to 50 g on the disc, or pull with the 1 N and 2 N dynamometers, and compare the turning effects on either side of the axle until the disc balances.

Using the principle of moments apparatus
