Study of Logarithmic Amplifier

The Study of Logarithmic Amplifier apparatus (SKU JA-COA-1148) is used to build log and antilog amplifiers with an IC 741 and a diode in the feedback path, and to find the ideality factor of the log amplifier. For the antilog amplifier students plot a graph of V1 against V0. The circuit uses a potentiometer and a 4007 or OA 79 diode, with a continuously variable +/-15 V DC regulated supply protected against short circuit and overload.
