The Stethoscope (SKU JL-LE-11593, Cat. No. JSS-421/0145) is an acoustic stethoscope with a traditional diaphragm chest piece and a built-in analogue watch, supplied by JaincoLab for nursing and physiology training. A stethoscope carries body sounds from the disc-shaped chest piece through two tubes to the earpieces, and in training it is used to listen to heart and lung sounds and, with a sphygmomanometer, to learn blood pressure measurement. The timepiece helps when counting rates.
