Springs (SKU JL-LE-10593, Cat. No. JSS-522/059) is a set of five Hooke's law springs with different spring constants, made for use with a Hooke's law apparatus. Each spring stretches by 2 cm under its own load: 0.5 N, 1 N, 2 N, 3 N and 5 N respectively. Every spring has a loop for hanging on the support rod, a hook for the load and an adjustable red arrow that marks its position. The set is supplied by JaincoLab.

Scope of supply and ordering
All five springs are supplied as one set; the support rod and stand are not part of it. The quotation gives quantities, packing and lead time.
Frequently asked questions
How much does each spring stretch?
Each spring extends by 2 cm under its rated load of 0.5 N, 1 N, 2 N, 3 N or 5 N, which works out to spring constants of 25, 50, 100, 150 and 250 N/m.
How are the springs mounted?
Fix the rod to a stand and hang each spring from it by its top loop; the load goes on the hook at the bottom.
What is the red arrow for?
It is an adjustable position indicator that makes the extension easy to read.
