Self Inductance Bridge

The Self Inductance Bridge (SKU JA-SI-8044) measures the self inductance of a coil and can also be used as an ordinary Wheatstone bridge. The ratio arm has two dials of 1, 10, 100 and 1000 ohm, and the resistance arm has three decade dials of 0.1, 1 and 10. A slide wire calibrated into 170 equal parts, with a 0.17 ohm slide resistance in series with the unknown inductance, eases calculation. A special double key is connected internally to the battery and galvanometer terminals.
