The Resonance in Strings and Air Columns Set (SKU JL-LE-10503, Cat. No. JSS-189/027) covers standing waves on a string and in an air column. A Melde-type vibrator shakes a cord 1 to 2 m long, stretched along the bench and passed over a pulley at the edge with a weight for tension; an aluminium resonance tube and sound box handle the air-column part.
