The Research Polarimeter (SKU JA-GLE-4007) measures the optical rotation of solutions of sugars, drugs and other optically active substances, using a rotating half shadow system and a sodium vapour light source. This research polarimeter has a glass circle graduated from 0 to 360 degrees that reads directly to 0.05° (0.02° by estimation) and a sugar scale from 30 to 120° ISS, and comes with a polarimeter tube, sodium vapour lamp, holder and leak-proof transformer.
