The Butyro Refractrometer (SKU JA-GLE-4005) measures the refractive behaviour of fats, oils and sugar solutions on two direct-reading scales, and is used in dairy and food laboratories to check butter, ghee and edible oils. This butyro refractometer has an oil (butyro) scale from 0 to 100 read to ±0.1 on the micrometer, and a sugar scale from 50 to 80% read directly to ±1%.
