The Microprocessor Visible Spectrophotometer (SKU JA-S-6442) measures transmittance and absorbance of coloured solutions across 325 to 1000 nm, using a diffraction grating, a 12 V 20 W tungsten halogen lamp and a photocell receiver. This visible spectrophotometer has a 2 nm spectral bandwidth and a 10 mm cell holder, and runs on AC 220 V. It is supplied by JaincoLab for college chemistry, water testing and quality control laboratories where UV measurement is not needed.
