The Microprocessor Friability Apparatus (SKU JA-FTA-2215) measures how far tablets chip or break under mechanical stress by tumbling them in rotating drums. This microprocessor friability tester runs one or two drums in time or count mode, takes sample weights from a connected balance and calculates percentage friability automatically. It is supplied by JaincoLab to pharmaceutical laboratories and pharmacy colleges.
Specifications
Drum speed is settable from 20 to 60 rpm, the counter covers 1 to 9999 rotations and the timer 1 second to 9 h 59 min 59 s, with a direct-drive stepper motor and a 20 x 4 line backlit LCD.
