The Length Gauge (SKU JA-M-8889) is used to find the elongation index of coarse aggregate, the proportion of particles whose length is more than 1.8 times their nominal size. Each particle is tried between a pair of studs set for its size fraction; one that will not pass lengthways is counted as elongated. The aggregate length gauge has steel studs mounted vertically on a hardwood base. It is made by JaincoLab.
