Forced Convection Apparatus

The Forced Convection Apparatus (SKU JA-ELA-5512) is a heat transfer experiment made by JaincoLab for mechanical and chemical engineering laboratories. Air from a centrifugal blower is forced through a copper test pipe, 30 mm in diameter and 500 mm long, heated by a 300 W electric heater. The air flow is measured with an orifice plate and U-tube manometer, the heater input with a dimmer, digital voltmeter and ammeter, and the temperatures at 12 points with K-type thermocouples on a selector-switch indicator.
