The Electroscope Gold Leaf (SKU JL-LE-10446, Cat. No. JSS-155/06) is a gold leaf electroscope housed in a rectangular sheet metal case on an insulated base. A removable disc electrode passes through a moulded plastic bush that stops charge leaking to the case, and a plated blade under the bush holds the gold leaf. A clear acrylic scale inside, graduated 0-90 degrees, lets charges be compared by deflection.

Experiments with the gold leaf electroscope
