The EHT Power Supply (SKU JA-M-7776) is an extra-high-tension bench supply that delivers a continuously variable 0–2.5 kV or 0–5 kV DC at up to 2 mA for electron tube and electrostatics work. This EHT power supply for the physics lab has a digital LED display of the output, resistor-limited secondary outputs and a 6.3 V AC heater output. Applications of the EHT power supply for the physics lab
In physics laboratories the EHT supply provides the high anode voltage needed by thermionic electron tubes, with the 6.3 V AC output heating the cathode, and its resistor-limited secondary outputs provide safe high voltages for electrostatics experiments.
