The Density Rod Set (SKU JL-LE-10611, Cat. No. JSS-527/067) is a set of 12 cylindrical rods of different lengths and materials for density practicals. All the rods are 12 mm in diameter and between 37 mm and 60 mm long, made from metals, plastics, rubber, woods and glass. Students weigh each rod, find its volume by displacement in a graduated cylinder, and divide mass by volume to get the density. The set comes in a wooden holder and is supplied by JaincoLab.

Density practicals with the density rod set
- Measuring mass on a balance and volume by water displacement in a graduated cylinder
