Darcys Law Apparatus

The Darcys Law Apparatus (SKU JA-ELA-5531) is a fluid mechanics set-up made by JaincoLab for verifying Darcy's law and finding the coefficient of permeability of a porous medium. Water flows through a clear acrylic cylindrical test section in a pipeline; pressure tappings on the test section lead to a differential manometer, and the flow rate is found with a measuring tank and stopwatch. The unit is self-contained, recirculating water from a sump tank with a centrifugal pump.
