The Base Ten Blocks (SKU JL-LEP-10285) are used to teach number value and place value. The set has 100 red unit cubes of 1 cm, 10 yellow rods of 1 x 1 x 10 cm, 10 green flats of 1 x 10 x 10 cm and one blue cube of 10 x 10 x 10 cm, each type in its own colour. Because ten of one piece make the next, base ten blocks let pupils see exchanging, regrouping and the size of hundreds and thousands. They are hard plastic with smooth edges. JaincoLab manufactures them in India, made as per DepEd guidelines.
