The Apparatus for Distributing Electric Charges, SKU JL-GLE-11262, is a JaincoLab electric charge distribution apparatus for electrostatics lessons. Charge made by rubbing polyethylene or celluloid tape with the friction cloth is carried on four metal spheres, each on a plastic insulating handle at least 50 mm long, and tested on a gold leaf electroscope with a case of not less than 200 mm diameter. Two aluminium cans let students compare the charge picked up from the inner and outer surfaces of a hollow conductor.
