The Alcohol Burner (SKU JL-LE-10819, Cat. No. JSS-445/071) is a 4 oz (about 120 ml) spirit burner with a matching stand, supplied by JaincoLab. Its metal cap puts out the flame and stops the alcohol evaporating between lessons. The stand is chrome-plated steel wire with a heavy-gauge wire top of 3 x 3 in (about 76 mm square) at a height of 5 in (127 mm), so a small beaker or tube can be warmed where no gas supply is available.
