The 16-Channel Strain Meter Expansion Unit (SKU JA-MI-4918) is a switch unit that accepts sixteen strain gauge inputs and selects any one of them for output to a two-channel digital strain meter, turning the meter into an eighteen-channel system. It is powered from the meter, so no extra power supply is needed, and each channel keeps its own calibration and zero (tare) setting, called up automatically when the channel is selected. Half or full bridge operation is supported. It is supplied by JaincoLab for structures and strength-of-materials laboratories.
