The Watch Glass (SKU JL-LEP-10283) covers beakers and holds small samples before heating or during evaporation. This 90 mm watch glass is a circular, concave disc of clear, bubble-free borosilicate glass, 90 mm ±1 mm across and 1.5 to 2 mm thick. Laid over a beaker it keeps out dust and reduces splashing; used on its own it holds a few drops of solution to evaporate, crystals to examine or a solid to weigh.
