The Ultrasonic Water Bath (SKU JA-B-1955) converts high-frequency electrical energy into ultrasound through transducers under a stainless steel tank, for cleaning, degassing and dissolving work in laboratories. JaincoLab makes this ultrasonic water bath in eight capacities from 2 to 30 litres, with heating, a digital timer, auto degassing and pulse sweep, for pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology and quality-control laboratories.

The bath works at 33 kHz ±3 kHz with automatic frequency tuning, accepts a 170 to 270 V AC input on a 220/230 V supply, and heats from ambient +5 °C to 60 °C under a microprocessor PID controller with SV/PV LED display and ±1 °C accuracy.

Applications of the ultrasonic water bath
Ultrasound in a liquid creates cavitation that loosens dirt from surfaces and drives dissolved gas out of solvents, so the bath is used to clean glassware and small parts, degas mobile phases and speed up dissolving of samples.
