The Tap Density Tester (SKU JA-TOBDA-2221) measures the tapped density of powders, granules and flaked materials by a set, repeatable tapping procedure. This microprocessor tap density tester has two motorised stations with snap-lock holders for 100 ml and 250 ml cylinders, and calculates tapped density, initial density, compressibility index and Hausner ratio automatically. It is supplied by JaincoLab.

The tester offers two methods, a 14 ±2 mm drop at 300 ±15 taps per minute and a 3 ±0.3 mm drop at 250 ±15 taps per minute, with 1 to 9999 taps per test on two stations driven by a stepper motor.
