The Spherometer Disc Type (SKU JA-MI-2120) measures the radius of curvature of lenses and spherical mirrors. It has a small metal frame supported on three legs at the corners of an equilateral triangle, with a fine pitch screw through the centre that forms the fourth leg. This disc type spherometer carries a pitch scale in millimetres with zero at the centre (10-0-10 mm) and a circular scale on the screw head divided into 100 parts, or 50 in some versions.
