The Soxhlet Extraction Unit (SKU JA-SEU-2095) is a multi-place heating unit on which Soxhlet extractors are set up to extract oils, fats and other soluble matter from solids with a refluxing solvent. JaincoLab makes this Soxhlet extraction unit in 3 and 6 place versions with mantle, heater, hot plate or water bath heating, for pharmacognosy, food, agriculture and chemistry laboratories.
Specifications
The body is mild steel in stove paint with chrome-plated upright fittings; the mantle type has heating mantles to 300 °C surface temperature with individual switches and pilot lamps (600 W for 3 places, 1200 W for 6), and the other types use heaters, hot plates or stainless steel water baths.
