The sound pipes set (SKU SCL-MK-12522) is a physics demonstration of pitch and resonance: seven hollow brass pipes of graduated length, 10 to 30 cm, hang freely from a wooden frame and give a different note when struck with the soft-headed striker. These brass sound pipes let students hear how the length of a vibrating pipe changes the pitch in school science lessons.
