The Sonometers listing, SKU JL-GLE-11264, is a JaincoLab wooden sonometer for the laws of vibrating strings. Its body measures 110 x 10 x 8.5 cm, and three steel wires, two of 0.4 mm and one of 0.8 mm, run over a 60 cm resonance box fitted with a scale. Three movable bridges set the vibrating length, the weights and a dynamometer set and measure the tension, and tuning forks of 512, 480 and 440 Hz with a hammer are included for tuning the wire to a known frequency.

Laws of vibrating strings
