The Sieves set (SKU JA-GE-7454) is a stack of six sieves with mesh sizes of 4 mm, 2 mm, 0.5 mm (two sieves), 0.25 mm and 0.1 mm, supplied with a bottom pan and lid. Students separate and grade soil and rock samples by particle size to work out the make-up of soil strata. This soil sieve set is supplied by JaincoLab for geography, agriculture and earth science practicals.
Specifications
The set has six screens, two of them at 0.5 mm, with a pan below and a lid on top. Stacked with the largest mesh at the top, the sieves separate a sample in one shaking.
