The Prolapsed Intervertebral Disc model (SKU JA-AM-8298) is made of two lumbar vertebrae with a herniated disc between them, in which the nucleus pulposus protrudes through a weakened part of the outer fibrous ring. The prolapsed disc model also shows the spinal nerves and spinal cord and is flexibly mounted, so the vertebrae can be moved. It is made of PVC and supplied by JaincoLab for teaching.
