The Plastic Two Colored Counters (SKU JL-LEP-10300) are used to demonstrate sets of numbers, skip counting, integers and the fundamental operations on integers. Each set has at least 60 hard plastic chips, each at least 22 mm across and 1 mm thick, with a different colour on each face. Flipping two colour counters turns a positive into a negative, so pupils can model zero pairs and see why adding a negative is like subtracting. They have smooth surfaces and edges.
