The wooden periscope (SKU JC-SL-4673) lets the user see objects that are out of the direct line of sight because of an obstruction. Two mirrors are mounted at 45 degrees, facing each other, at the ends of a Z-shaped tube, so light from an object above or below eye level is reflected twice and reaches the viewer. It demonstrates reflection by plane mirrors.
