The Organ Jar Bath Digital (SKU JA-LS-2396) is an organ bath made by JaincoLab for isolated tissue experiments in pharmacology practicals. The bath is transparent acrylic sheet, chemically welded so that it is leak-proof, and holds 750 ml. It comes complete with uprights, organ and oxygen tubes, capillary tubing and a frontal lever, and the bath is heated by an immersion heater regulated by a microprocessor-based digital temperature controller.

Pharmacology uses
In an isolated tissue experiment a piece of tissue is suspended in warm, oxygenated physiological salt solution in the bath, and its contractions are passed by the lever to a recorder.
