The Neuron Model (SKU JA-AM-205) is a two-part painted PVC model of a nerve cell and a peripheral nerve fibre, with 15 labelled positions. The neuronal body shows the cut-open perikaryon, nucleus, neurite cone, dendrites, dendrite arbour, axon hillock, synaptic terminals and neurofilaments, and the nerve fibre shows the Schwann cell with its nucleus, the Schwann sheath, the axon and mitochondria.
