Leak Test Apparatus

The Leak Test Apparatus (SKU JA-LTA-2224) checks the seals of strips, blisters and sachets containing tablets, granules and liquids for food, drug and chemical packing. Samples go into a polycarbonate desiccator, a built-in pump draws a vacuum that is held for a preset time, and packs that keep their shape show sound sealing. This leak test apparatus is supplied by JaincoLab.

Applications of the leak test apparatus
A vacuum test followed by immersion in a coloured dye solution, normally methylene blue, shows any pack whose seal lets the dye in, so faulty sealing is found before a batch leaves the line.
