The Wooden Joule Calorimeter (SKU JA-MI-4866) is an electrically heated calorimeter of the kind used in the Griffiths method, where electrical energy supplied to a heating coil is compared with the heat taken up by the liquid. This Joule calorimeter has a copper vessel inside a teak wood outer box of 9.5 x 9.5 x 11.5 cm, which reduces heat loss, and a Bakelite lid with holes for the thermometer and stirrer. The calorimeter is 3 x 2 inch. It is supplied by JaincoLab for school and college physics.
