Iron-Powder (SKU JL-LE-11165, Model No. JL740/0108) is finely divided iron metal supplied by JaincoLab as an analytical reagent with an MSDS. Its classic school use is with sulphur: a magnet pulls the iron out of the cold mixture, but once heated the two form iron sulphide, which a magnet no longer attracts. It is also used in rusting and displacement experiments.
