The Inclined Plane (SKU JL-LE-10730, Cat. No. JSS-345/0113) is a simple hardwood apparatus for studying uniformly accelerated motion and forces on a slope. A hinged plane, 60 x 7.5 cm, is set at angles between 24 and 45° using a wood block against the stepped lower face, and a 38 mm aluminium pulley at the top carries a cord to a scale pan through a cut-away base. A cylindrical metal roller and two sliders complete the set-up.
