The Fume Scrubber (SKU JA-LFH-3849) cleans the exhaust air of a laboratory fume hood by passing it upwards against a downward spray of scrubbing liquid, which takes up water-soluble acid and base fumes before the air is discharged. This polypropylene fume scrubber mounts on top of the fume hood, with its packing, spray manifold and mist eliminator above and its pump and reservoir in the base cabinet, so it needs little extra floor space. It is supplied by JaincoLab for chemistry and analytical laboratories.
Specifications
The whole scrubber body is chemical- and corrosion-resistant polypropylene, with counter-current gas/liquid contact through a packed section, a spray manifold and a mist eliminator above the hood and a pump and reservoir in the base cabinet.
