The Fortin's barometer (SKU JC-SL-4800) measures atmospheric pressure in school and college laboratories. It is mounted on a polished wooden board and has a 6 mm borosilicate glass tube, dual scales reading 675 to 820 mm Hg in 1 mm steps and 26.5 to 32.5 inch Hg in 0.05 inch steps, and verniers reading to 0.05 mm and 0.002 inch. A -10 to 50 °C thermometer is fitted, and brass and aluminium models are listed.
