The Dynamo Demo (SKU JL-LE-10662, Cat. No. JSS-659/090) is a hand-driven dynamo model for showing how mechanical work is turned into electrical energy. On a 200 x 125 mm base plate, a 125 mm hand-drive pulley turns the smaller dynamo pulley through a rubber belt, stepping up the speed. The output is taken from a pair of 4 mm sockets, and a light-emitting diode shows when current is being generated. On a 6-8 V DC supply the model also runs as a motor.
